How do you plan to use knowledge gained from attending 2021 HCD in your day-to-day work? As an academic, I plan to use the knowledge I gain to support NIHD initiatives such as our contributions to the CHD Knowledge Repository, our support of students at the PDC Student Design challenge, and in research projects that can potentially contribute to the body of knowledge that supports evidence-based design.

HCD Conference Details! This October, Healthcare Design Expo & Conference (HCD) will once again take place in person. HCD is devoted to how the design of responsibly built environments directly impacts the safety, operation, clinical outcomes, and financial success of healthcare facilities now and into the future. Conference sessions cover a broad range of topics all relevant to today's healthcare facilities.

NIHD is an official Association Partner to HCD, helping to carefully curate the Clinical Perspectives educational track. It offers programs that focus on clinical perspectives and knowledge as they relate to healthcare design. These programs are CE-certified for nursing clinicians, but also applicable to all attendees.

NIHD collaborates with clinicians, design professionals and industry partners in the healthcare design process to shape the future of healthcare design.
