Misty
Sperry Chambers holds a bachelor's of
science degree in Nursing
from Emory University and a master's of
science degree in Nursing from Vanderbilt
University. Her extensive clinical, leadership
and project management experience
led to her role
as the Director of Facilities Planning for the
Monroe Carell Jr Children's Hospital at
Vanderbilt in Nashville, TN., where she:

Organized and coordinated
the planning, design and occupancy of inpatient and
outpatient services into a new 206-bed freestanding
children's hospital facility.

In collaboration with the
Project Manager, coordinated involvement and
communication between members of a multidisciplinary,
multi-perspective planning team including health
professionals, patients, families, architects, interior
designers and engineers from programming to document
development, selection of equipment and furnishings and
facility construction.

Led in the development of
occupancy plans and time-lines for the move to the new
facility.

Directed planning and
execution of the furniture,
equipment and material moves
to the new facility.

Coordinated Children's
Hospital space planning and other facility
post-occupancy initiatives.
June of 2006 Ms. Chambers
accepted a position with Earl Swensson Associates
architectural firm in Nashville, TN as Clinical
Operations/Design Specialist. Her responsibilities
